Actualy its just a rebranded eclipse GSX. DSM was diamond star motor co. And it was a joint veture between Mits, Chrysler. also plymouth. Plymouth and eagle dont exsist anymore but when they did they were owned by chrysler. The laser,talon,and eclipse are all the same car just sold with differant names. and small changes like lights and such.

it being so old would influence the decision and id say run to synthetic after you break it over from conventional by using a partial-syntheitc for a while, but unless it required you dont have to , also if it has any kind of oil leak do NOT use synthetic...

but is there anything that will make it run a little better, or at least not brake the car, i mean you can tell im new to this car, well a car that has a turbo on it and people say that i need syntetic cuse its got a turbo, so your telling me that there is no difference right??
and it kind of made scince, people say that syntetic wasnt around back in 94...
